[The Knockout] A New Ballad

Gao Shujun was reborn in another country with a new face.

Xin Yao had weathered the world and was no longer easily shaken.

A battle of wits between a gentlemanly scoundrel and a thorny rose.

In the end, who will run, who will chase, and who will be unable to escape?

A Yao, you're so beautiful. Why stay by his side?

Maybe because he's old, and doesn't bathe.

Xin Yao: At 26, young and beautiful, she has already seen through the world and become serene and detached. She's good at being cold, and used to wearing a mask.

She said, “Gao Shujun, I stay by your side not because I'm afraid of you. There's still someone in this world who hates me, so at least I'm not quite so lonely.”

Gao Shujun: At 38, mature and steady. He was once cruel and vicious, once dead, and once reborn from the ashes. But now, he's just a lonely and forlorn man.

He said, “A Yao, stay by my side. A Yao, please stay, won't you?”

Theme: Loneliness has always been hard to bear. May we all find someone to keep us company.
