Mr. Tang at Forty-Five

At a party, eighteen-year-old Huo Zhen met thirty-five-year-old Tang Yun.

The man lounged on the sofa, the corners of his beautiful peach-blossom eyes flushed. His red lips looked as if someone had just kissed them.

Most of the people at the party kept their eyes on the beautiful Tang Yun. They offered him drinks, and whichever person's drink he accepted, he would date them for a while.

That was the game Tang Yun had made up.

Tang Yun was the young master of the Tang family, with a family who doted on him and more money than he could spend.

Eighteen-year-old Huo Zhen thought Tang Yun was the most beautiful person in the world. He also hoped Tang Yun would take the drink in his hand.

But Tang Yun's slender hand passed over his glass, and he left him with a remark: "You're too young, little brother. I don't like playing with anyone that young."

At a shabby little bar, twenty-eight-year-old Huo Zhen met forty-five-year-old Tang Yun.

The man was dead drunk. Fine lines had appeared around his eyes, and with his face flushed, he looked no different from a drunk lying by the roadside.

His beauty was gone. His family had gone bankrupt, and even his old friends no longer kept in touch.

Tang Yun looked up and noticed Huo Zhen, impeccably dressed in a suit. He smiled at himself mockingly. "Mr. Huo, are you lonely? For this much, I'll be your lover for a month."

He waited for Huo Zhen's response. That amount had once meant nothing to him, but now he had to trade his body for it.

Huo Zhen's throat burned.

That night, Tang Yun drank a lot of the liquor Huo Zhen offered him. There was always a glass Huo Zhen had handed him in his hand.

A reminder from the author:

1. The recipient is not a virgin. He was wild when he was young and had many romantic partners.

2. The recipient is very much a slacker, yes, the kind who has no ambition. He's a delicate flower who needs someone else to lavish everything on him and nurture him.

3. The pursuer's love may be a little unhealthy.

Theme: To love someone is to love both their strengths and their flaws.
