All was silent. A marble rolled across the rooftop with a crisp clatter. A faucet that wouldn't shut off dripped steadily. A landline with a garbled incoming message abruptly woke the sleeping night: "I'm~ waiting~ downstairs~ for you~ all~" The echo lingered, leaving everyone soaked in a cold sweat.
Who the heck let Maple Leaf design the death reports like this?!
No. 1, woken in the middle of the night and carrying enough resentment to outspook a ghost, opened the public chat: "Everyone vote No. 3 out!" People who just want to stir things up can die!
No. 3: I only made a ringtone to wake people up. Is that really necessary? No. 4's the one killing people. Get him, get him, get him...
No. 4: Currently on a mission with Gin. Don't @ me.
Asazuru Hisai was a conscientious class monitor. With the entrance exams looming, the six students who'd been left behind were likely to fail spectacularly and drag down the whole class's GPA. So the class monitor had to find time during the break to tutor them.
The tutoring sessions were held in a comfortable, quiet nightclub. There was nothing strange about that. Someone suggested a game of Werewolf to give their brains a rest. That was even less strange.
When they opened the private room door, the strangeness hit them head-on.
Asazuru Hisai: How did that girl who just ran by keep that cone-shaped hairstyle from getting messed up?!
No. 6: Class monitor, is it possible that we've been...
The System came online and ordered the seven of them to play Werewolf in a series of anime worlds. Vote out the black team, and the red team wins.
Kill people? Give me a break. We're all good kids and good students who grew up in a peaceful society. How could we possibly turn on each other? We can just wipe out a certain liquor organization, clean up the "Dark Night" of the supernatural world, and overthrow a bunch of rotten oranges. The System never said the black team had to be werewolves, right?
The Assassin Wolf carries a sniper rifle and never misses, but in the end, his sights are trained on Mr. Crow.
The Clumsy Detective gets a result from his skill and uses the culprit's information to work backward through the crime.
The Summoner answers one call with a thousand followers, using curses to gang up on the two strongest.
The Psychic Wolf secretly tries out his possession ability, fighting for a place and overpowering Ryomen Sukuna.
The useless System can't be relied on, so the class monitor does his best to keep the beasts from taking off at any moment. Even during their rare free time, he never forgets to tutor them. Power is fleeting, but knowledge stands forever.
Bonus Scene
(No. 1) Asazuru Hisai: Where's the Fireworks Wolf?! This is right up your alley. Go defuse it!
No. 5: I'm catching the culprit!
(No. 1) Asazuru Hisai: (trembling) Then who's defusing the fireworks right now?
No. 7: (excitedly) Me, me! Do I cut the blue wire or the red one?
(No. 1) Asazuru Hisai: The Fireworks Wolf is catching the black team's culprit, and the Clumsy Detective is defusing the fireworks. How impressive.
(No. 1) Asazuru Hisai: So where did the sheriff go?
No. 6: (weakly) I'm still at the police academy, having a knife fight with a gorilla...
-There will be identity swaps, but the class monitor will always be looking after those six kids.
-CP undecided. I'll see how it goes as I write, and I won't break up any original couples.
-The classmates are the closest of friends and will never betray each other. The class monitor is everyone's favorite.
