Du Zhisi failed her tribulation in a single day and nearly reverted to her original form. Fortunately, she transmigrated into a mortal body, though unfortunately, she was a lowly spy.
She is about to be presented to the king who rules this land.
Du Zhisi: That's great! Then I'll become queen.
"Wake up. His Majesty never indulges in women."
Not long afterward...
The king indulges in women, neglects state affairs, refuses loyal advice, and leaves the borders vulnerable.
The ministers come to their senses as if from a dream: "Witch, give us back our king! Give us back our king!"
Meanwhile, Du Zhisi is busy clutching her aching waist. "Don't come any closer!"
On the first night she tries to become queen, Du Zhisi nearly breaks her back.
On the second night she tries to become queen, Du Zhisi thinks: Damn it. Weren't you supposed to be a cold-blooded man who never showed women the slightest kindness? But you're clearly so hot...
On the eighth night she tries to become queen, Du Zhisi straight-up kicks the king out of her bedchamber.
The man gives a cold laugh at the door and pushes his way back in.
Then Du Zhisi's coquettish cry rings out from inside:
"Why doesn't your door have a bolt?!"
