After graduating, Neville Longbottom left the Auror Command, where he'd worked briefly, and began exploring his career at a botanical research institute. But the director's doubts about his expertise made his career progress an uphill battle. Then Pansy Parkinson, his nemesis from their school days, offered to help him overcome his current difficulties. But can he really trust his fellow Slytherin?
Neville x Pansy
Warnings:
I'm breaking up a canon couple again. If you can't accept that, don't read this. I've been extremely obsessed with this pairing lately.
A big reason is that the actors were so beautiful and handsome in the film adaptation. I'm a sucker for good looks, and beautiful women and handsome men belong together. The two of them are first drawn to each other's looks. I'm also fascinated by their relationship, from enemies to lovers.
Pansy has to be a good girl, so if you're attached to the few lines about Pansy in the original books, it's best not to read this. You'll definitely think she's out of character.
This is still a postwar story, so the original plot won't change at all.
The plan is 60,000 to 80,000 words. It's a short story, so it should be finished fairly quickly.
Other major characters are Daphne, Draco, Harry, and Hermione.
There's no romance between Draco and Pansy. The four people mentioned above will serve as romantic wingmen. Anya will only appear in the background, so she has nothing to do with Self-Rescue.
Theme: Trust and reliance
I really like Slytherin written by my wife. It gets rid of many stereotypes and feels more real.
Ahhhh, when will it be updated?
