Mistakes Behind Palace Walls

Three years into our marriage, my husband has never once set foot in my courtyard.

My father exchanged his military achievements for our marriage, and my husband despised me from the start.

He had me thrown into the dungeon and stripped of my position as empress for the sake of his white moonlight's lookalike.

Later, I died in his arms. Only then did he realize he had mistaken me for someone else all along.

But by then, it was too late.

A story about mistaking one person for another.

(P.S. Angsty melodrama! Old-school! There are other works in my collection available by monthly subscription~)

Theme: Don't let love make you lose your head.
