Shen Sizhuo is a rising genius on the Dongxuan Continent, but he isn't the only one with that title. Yan Xueshuo is known alongside him as one of the cultivation world's Twin Stars.
Shen Sizhuo can't stand Yan Xueshuo. He's cold and distant, and just looking at him is enough to make you freeze.
To get rid of that title, Shen Sizhuo begins cultivating like mad, determined to leave Yan Xueshuo in the dust.
But in his haste to succeed, he fails to survive the final tribulation of the Nascent Soul stage.
Shen Sizhuo transmigrates, straight into a fanfic about himself and Yan Xueshuo, with a bizarre System bound to him that says he'll die if he breaks character.
If the character were normal, Shen Sizhuo wouldn't mind playing along. But the author has turned him into a delicate, soft-bodied, ditzy beauty! Who could put up with that?!
Shen Sizhuo: Even if I die today, I absolutely won't...
System: How about getting erased from existence?
Shen Sizhuo: ...I think I can give it a try.
In the story, Yan Xueshuo is endlessly favored by the Heavenly Dao, while all Shen Sizhuo has to do is lie back and coast on his success.
So Shen Sizhuo's daily routine becomes:
"Brother Yan, pay attention to me~"
"Brother Yan, my feet hurt. I can't walk~"
"Brother Yan..."
Shen Sizhuo loves seeing Yan Xueshuo keep a straight face while the tips of his ears turn bright red.
After spending so many years in the story, Shen Sizhuo returns to reality and sees Yan Xueshuo again. Without thinking, he starts whining and burrows into his arms.
Yan Xueshuo simply pinches his cheek and teases, "How come you're getting more spoiled the more I take care of you?"
Shen Sizhuo freezes, as do all the people who came to visit him.
The next day, the whole cultivation world is abuzz:
The Twin Stars' romance is confirmed! Their old feud may actually have been secret flirting!
Shen Sizhuo: ...Just destroy the world already.
Both transmigrate. The love interest has no memories, and the protagonist doesn't know.
The protagonist is a sweet, delicate beauty as described in the blurb, a bit of a heartthrob, and coasts on the support of powerful allies.
The cultivation setting is made up, and the story is guaranteed sweet.
Theme: Dare to take on a challenge.
