[Apocalypse] [Safehouse Stockpiling] [Unlimited Superpowers] [System]
The great cataclysm utterly destroyed the world.
Viruses ran rampant. Months of torrential rain and hail followed, and the land was swallowed by the sea. Then came a brief but miserable mini ice age, followed by solar storms that swept across the globe. The plants and animals that had survived mutated, and ancient mysteries awoke...
Unfortunately, Tang Youju had no way of foreseeing any of this.
After all, she was just an ordinary jobless worker who had just quit with severance pay. Inspired by camping bloggers online, she decided to go on an impromptu camping trip in the wilderness.
The good news: She had bought all her camping gear.
The bad news: The apocalypse had arrived!
[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have activated the Apocalypse System!]
[Host survival rate: Extremely low]
[Ding! Please complete missions and build a safehouse as soon as possible to improve your survival rate!]
[Ding! Your first mission: Find the two people who helped you set up your tent last night and kill them.]
Tang Youju: Huh?! They kindly helped me set up my tent, and now you want me to kill them?
[They have already been infected by a strange virus and are about to mutate into extremely dangerous aberrant devourers!]
Well...
What am I supposed to kill them with?
[Recommended for the Host: Camping entrenching tool]
Tang Youju looked at the portable folding entrenching tool on the ground, the one she'd bought for five yuan from some online shopping site. It could be used as a hoe or a pickaxe, among other things.
“So you want me to use this thing to whack a mutant monster?”
[Ding! Host has unlocked a superpower: On-the-Spot Forging]
[On-the-Spot Forging: Temporarily modify and upgrade an item in your hand, turning it into a powerful, easy-to-use tool. (The duration of the effect is inversely proportional to the size of the item.)]
A golden finger! She could even upgrade her gear...
And that's not all!
[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have unlocked a superpower: Pot of Desire]
What is this one? Why does it sound so inappropriate?
As one disaster after another struck, Tang Youju grew used to the System's voice.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have unlocked a superpower!]
[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have unlocked a superpower!]
Until one day...
[Ding! Alert! Alert!]
[Detection: A massive aberration is approaching. The ancient beings have noticed the plane where the Host resides!]
Theme: Strive tirelessly to grow stronger.
