In 2054, a zombie virus broke out on the continent.
Yeah, it was pretty serious.
On the first day of the outbreak, the research institute told everyone they didn't have to come to work. Yin Xinghe was bored at home, so he leaned by the window and looked down from the third floor. He regretted buying an apartment on such a low floor. What if zombies climbed up the drainpipe? After thinking it over, he turned around and calmly took a sip of coffee.
On the second day of the outbreak, Yin Xinghe watched the news showing hordes of zombies in the city and got a bit of a headache. Looking at the several big boxes of emergency ration biscuits he'd stocked up on a few days earlier, he wondered if he'd live long enough to be rescued. He'd make it as far as he could.
On the third day of the outbreak, Yin Xinghe watched the zombie horde pass along the road in front of his home. Among them, he spotted his... well... ex-boyfriend?
His ex, now a zombie, stood motionless among the moving tide of corpses, staring at him. His eyes were milky white and lifeless, but his lips kept moving.
"Xingxing."
Yin Xinghe jumped in fright, hurriedly drew the curtains, and didn't dare look again.
Then... his ex-boyfriend climbed up the drainpipe to the third floor.
Then... there was a zombie in his home.

This is an unconventional apocalypse zombie story. The author's writing may not be mature, but it's definitely readable!
A story about chuunibyou boys dreaming of joining hands to save the world.
The gong is a zombie at first. Don't worry, it's not gross. The author's tastes are perfectly normal.
Neither the gong nor the shou is perfect; they both have flaws. Overall, it's a story about growth.

This story came from a sudden burst of inspiration. Since it's fairly short, I'm writing it first.
I originally planned to write A Worthy Gentleman first, but that story has a much bigger scope, and I need time to flesh it out, so I'm starting with this one.
I absolutely will not abandon any of my novels! I'll take responsibility for the characters I write!
