If you could transmigrate into the world of the last game you played, would you be willing?
When I casually chose “yes” on a forum, I never thought it would actually happen.
If I had another chance, I would definitely ask: Could I open ■ Life Simulator one more time? ■ Valley would work too.
Unfortunately, there is no turning back after transmigrating. I could only accept reality: I was about to transmigrate to a place crawling with monsters, where villains kept trying to destroy the world.
The one thing I could be grateful for was that I could bring my in-game abilities with me. I had also exchanged them for a language pack for the game world's language using the languages I knew now... I hoped I could stay alive a little longer.
I closed my eyes, opened them, and found myself in another world. I started crying at the sight before me.
Tears of joy.
Late at night, on a rooftop.
A stubbled man was leaning against a wall, bloodstains on his chest.
A blond, dark-skinned man was listening to his heartbeat.
A long-haired man in a knit cap stood nearby.
If I couldn't recognize this scene, then all those thousand episodes of detective anime I'd watched would have been for nothing.
Even if the criminals of Beika Town were said to run rampant and the Black Organization killed without mercy, this was still a modern society governed by law! At least I didn't need to worry about the world ending.
The only regret was that I had changed the language pack too early. I couldn't say a single word now, so all I could do was pretend to be a child with an intellectual disability. Yes, a child.
That's what I got for choosing the Lalafell race when I created my character.
