Chaoyang was born with a Profound Yin body, a great source of nourishment for ghosts and demons. As a result, she was often plagued by them from the moment she was born.
Her parents were also killed by ghosts. With their dying strength, they sent her to Mount Wanxiang.
On her first trip down the mountain with her senior fellow disciple, Chaoyang met a mute Qingyi, the most ordinary kind of ghost.
Who could have guessed that this Qingyi would follow Chaoyang from then on? With no other choice, she secretly brought him back to Mount Wanxiang.
Despite hiding him as carefully as she could, her senior fellow disciples eventually discovered him. They wanted to destroy the Qingyi, but Chaoyang realized she had fallen for him and fought desperately to stop them.
In the end, she even gave him her Profound Yin body to save him. But Qingyi immediately disappeared, and no matter how long Chaoyang searched, she could not find him. Later, when the Demon Sect invaded Mount Wanxiang, Chaoyang, utterly despairing, went to her death.
Twenty years later, Chaoyang was reborn in the body of a disciple of the demonic cult. During an audience with the Demon Sect's leader, she realized that he looked exactly like the Qingyi who had disappeared all those years ago.
The Demon Sect leader: "I used to have this dream all the time. In it, there was a woman named Chaoyang."
The Demon Sect leader: "Why do I feel as if I've met you before?"
Chaoyang: "Hmph, you scumbag. Go die."

Hongyi (known as a Ghost General, with a spirit body that has become physical)
Cultivation ranks for demons: Awakening Intelligence (gaining consciousness), Transformation (able to take human form), Golden Core (has cultivated an inner core and possesses special abilities of its own), Thunder Transformation (the highest rank, able to ascend after surviving the tribulation)
Cultivation ranks for humans: Qi Refining, Spirit Condensation, Object Manipulation, Golden Core, Integration, Great Dao.
Theme: All things possess a spirit, and all spirits have feelings. Love is born from feeling, and hatred is born from feeling. We do not know where love comes from, yet we devote ourselves to it completely; we do not know what love depends on, yet it remains faithful until death.
My writing skills are a little immature, but writing a book itself is a process of getting better and better, so come on! I am one of these 18 collectors! Hope to see better works in the future!
