That was all nonsense. In reality, this is a simple little story about a little mermaid who knows she is destined to become foam, and her adventurous journey to seek an eternal human soul.
After finding understanding, respect, friendship, and love, she gains a firm sense of self and the courage to face her fate with serenity.
After all, the courage to move forward and the courage to give up are equally worthy.
