[Former aloof mermaid top x lovestruck black dragon marshal bottom]
After being dead for many years, the mermaid Cyril Poseidon finished making his final arrangements. With the last of his mental strength, he embraced his lover's bones and vanished into the depths of the sea.
But when he opened his eyes again, he found himself sitting at a negotiating table. The enemy representative across from him was none other than his long-dead lover.
He had returned to the negotiation where they first officially met!
A century ago, relations between the Mermaid Starfield and the Dragon Starfield were hostile.
The two top-tier starfields were evenly matched, and their battles were fiercely contested.
Cyril Poseidon was the crown prince of the Mermaid Starfield and the old mermaid king's favored heir to the throne.
The black dragon was the supreme commander of the Dragon Starfield and the dragon emperor's most trusted subordinate.
No one knew how these two, who were complete opposites on the battlefield, had met.
Amid one seemingly endless battle after another,
their opposing sides had not stopped them from coming to admire one another.
Then one day, the valiant Black Dragon Marshal suddenly disappeared from the battlefield.
Cyril Poseidon searched everywhere for him, until a year after the two starfields declared a ceasefire,
when the black dragon commander, battered and emaciated, abruptly collapsed at the entrance to his estate.
Cyril took him inside. Before long, someone with ulterior motives spread the news.
The mermaid people, who had lost family members in the war, could not accept it, and the whole city erupted in an uproar.
One day, after many arguments with the old mermaid king,
Cyril disappeared into the vast expanse of space with the black dragon commander, whose mental strength seemed to have crumbled...
(I'll add to the synopsis after finishing the outline.)
