Taking the Bait [Entertainment Industry]

[On hiatus. I'll fill in the rest if inspiration strikes.]

#What she thought was a chance encounter was actually his slow, deliberate pursuit#

After signing a dating contract with Fu Wenci, heir to the Fu family, Jiang Mi diligently plays the part of his girlfriend.

Later, news breaks that she isn't Fu Wenci's real girlfriend, making her a laughingstock in their circle. Then one scandalous rumor after another comes out.

Paparazzi corner her on set and demand a response.

At the crucial moment, Fu Wenci appears out of nowhere, snatches the microphone the paparazzo had shoved in Jiang Mi's face, and shields her behind him.

That day's live broadcast completely overturned the public's impression of Fu Wenci.

No one had ever imagined that Fu Wenci, usually proud and aloof, so proper and self-controlled, would lose his reason over a woman.

Everyone knows Fu Wenci is cold and distant. Only Jiang Mi knows he can also lose control of his feelings, like when he kisses her by force.

And she likes the way he loses control when he kisses her.

Fu Wenci signed a dating contract with Jiang Mi as a means of making her lower her guard around him.

He likes Jiang Mi, but she never gave him a second thought.

So he could only resort to underhanded tactics to hook her and keep her by his side.
