Synopsis 1: Xu Zhiyi and Shen Xiaoyu meet again at a blind date arranged by their families. She never expected her date to be the same classmate she'd been rumored to be dating back in high school. In fact, they had never dated, or even been close to dating. Both were top students, and sometimes competed with each other in their studies, but otherwise they barely interacted. Somehow, people still started a rumor that they were a couple. No matter how much she tried to explain, no one listened. Their "relationship" eventually fizzled out when Shen Xiaoyu suddenly transferred schools. But after their reunion, the faint hint of youthful attraction between them catches fire at the slightest spark, developing in a direction Xu Zhiyi never could have predicted.
Synopsis 2: Xu Zhiyi and her colleagues from Nanchuan Television are sent to a remote satellite launch center in the northwest for a month to film interviews for a space exploration documentary. Xu Zhiyi spends a month living and eating alongside the people who work at the space center, observing their daily work and interviewing them. Shen Xiaoyu is one of the people she follows for her project.
Later, one day after they get together, Xu Zhiyi receives a bouquet of roses at work. The card wishes her a happy birthday and is signed by Shen Xiaoyu. Just after finishing work, Xu Zhiyi receives two more messages from him on WeChat.
[Boyfriend, National Champion of Jealousy: Zhizhi, happy birthday!]
[Boyfriend, National Champion of Jealousy: I'm outside your workplace right now. I have a gift for you.]
They have been in a long-distance relationship for several months. After seeing the messages, Xu Zhiyi quickly heads to the entrance, only to find that it's snowing outside. Snowflakes drift down all around her, and she spots a man covered in snow in the distance, walking toward her one step at a time.
Shen Xiaoyu stops in front of her, drops to one knee, and presents a ring box in both hands. Inside is a diamond ring engraved with their names.
"Zhizhi, I want to marry you. You are my way home and my stars and sea."
