[A short work written for practice]
The Mongda Lama must not give in to love or passion.
As the most noble ruler of the Snowlands, he serves the Buddha above and his people below, imprisoned all his life in a resplendent palace until his passing.
Jiang Xianyao transmigrates as a princess sent to marry abroad. On her first day in the Snowlands, the eldest prince she is to wed suddenly dies, and the marriage is put on hold.
That day, Jiang Xianyao follows local custom and goes on a pilgrimage. As she spins a prayer wheel, she catches sight of a flash of crimson, radiant in the sunset.
From then on, that splash of red becomes a vivid stroke in her life.
Jiang Xianyao has pored over history books countless times. "Lan Zhen Jiacuo" was once just a few words lost in the tide of history, yet he came to define nearly her entire life.
Lan Zhen Jiacuo, the fourteenth Mongda Lama, born in 1692, date of death unknown.
