The Calamity of the West Sea

The great calamity that comes once in ten thousand years has befallen the West Sea. The Fireflow River poured into the sea, awakening Third Princess Cunxin from her slumber. She left the Coral Palace she had guarded for hundreds of years and stood alone on the surface of the West Sea. The Fireflow River came raging in, and the Four Seas rallied to help, but all living things were annihilated. Yang Jian was ordered to stop the Fireflow River. A past encounter with Yang Jian a thousand years ago gave the Fireflow River a way to control Cunxin. But just as the West Sea was on the verge of falling, Cunxin pulled out her protective dragon scale and used it to seal the Fireflow River's core. Yang Jian's trident pierced the most vulnerable part of Cunxin. In that instant, he lost the one he loved...

"Yang Jian, you really are the poison that was her undoing. She couldn't save all living beings, but she was led astray by you."
