This novel has completely gone off the rails.
Blurb:
When Sui Zhao was born, she was adored by everyone. As the only dragon hatchling, she was The Outcast, yet above the masses. When she went to study at an immortal sect, she was also the beloved junior sister of the entire sect.
Then, overnight, everything changed completely.
The sect was severed from the mainland by the Heavenly Dao, and no one knew where it had ended up.
The demon clans were swept up in fierce factional struggles. The entire dragon clan spared no effort to save Sui Zhao's life.
Hunted by pursuers, Sui Zhao fled to the Netherworld, where she was fortunately saved by an old friend of her mother's.
She had once been a sign of good fortune: auspicious stars shone, sweet springs flowed, fine grain grew, rivers stayed within their banks, and the seas remained calm.
From then on, the auspicious star dimmed and vanished without a trace.
A great edifice was on the verge of collapse.
The Heavenly Dao was merciful.
In the darkness, a glimmer of hope remained.
To honor a promise to an old friend, the Netherworld Lord saved Sui Zhao and gave her a new name: Qin Zheng.
Sui Zhao belonged to the past. Qin Zheng was the present and the future.
Qin Zheng traveled the world, searching for traces of her sect. The only senior brother she could sense kept avoiding her.
In her memories, her senior brother had sharp brows and bright eyes, upright and open. He never hid in the shadows. Instead, he was always by her side, the white moonlight in her heart.
No matter where she wanted to go or what she wanted to do, he would accompany her without hesitation. But now, he was no longer by her side.
"Why have you left me all alone..."
The figure in the distance, who had been about to leave, paused. He looked at her with restraint, then slowly turned around and quietly walked away.
"A Zheng, who will you choose, your senior brother or me?" The man sat on the couch, aggrieved, and wrapped his arms around her waist, forcing her to look him in the eye.
Having heard this question countless times, Qin Zheng tilted her head and leaned close to the man's ear. Again and again, she answered with conviction, "You."
[You are my one and only choice]
[Mutual devotion]
[Ascension bonus scene]
The maids in the immortal residence were chatting outside the door. "Do you think our Lady and the Immortal Lord have some unusual tastes?" A lively maid waggled her eyebrows beside them.
The maids thought they were whispering, but every word they said had reached her ears.
"Come on, tell me. Which version of me do you like best?" Qin Zheng stood with her hands on her hips, teasing him with a smile in her eyes.
In the end, she couldn't hold back any longer. Leaning against Yun Jing, she giggled.

The Chief Potion Master
Yu Yu came from a family of potion masters and succeeded in entering one of the country's top magic academies at sixteen. Unexpectedly, she was assigned to the Divination Department. With no other choice, she could only become a potion master skilled in divination.
With tarot cards in one hand and a ladle in the other, she somehow became the top student in both departments!
"Have you heard? That astrologer is great at brewing potions. Everyone who's tried them says they're amazing!"
The person he grabbed to ask about it was the very astrologer in question. Without batting an eye, she replied, "O-of course. Student Yu is the best in the world!"
