The Idol-Building Guide

After the college entrance exams, Chi Junyuan mustered up the courage to sign up for a talent show. After several rounds of auditions, she became one of 111 trainees.

As a complete amateur who had only ever performed at school events, she thought making it through two rounds would be a great result.

After getting two seconds of screen time in the first episode and ten seconds for her first-stage performance, she decided that even making it through one round would be fine, as long as she didn't come in last.

Later, during the first group performance, the camera pulled back to a wide shot every time she stood in the center. She finally came to terms with it: as long as she didn't mess up and let her teammates down, that was enough.

But when the votes from the first episode came in, she discovered she had just barely made it through to the second round.

Chi Junyuan: ?

Maybe she could still find the energy to give it another shot.

Yu Lingxi had never forgotten the girl who helped her by the roadside three years ago. She had even sent people to look for her, but they never found her. Then Chi Junyuan joined the talent show, and Yu Lingxi caught sight of her in those two seconds on screen. She recognized her at once.

Later, she appeared as a special guest on Chi Junyuan's solo variety show.

The other girl greeted her stiffly.

Yu Lingxi's thoughts: So she doesn't remember me anymore.

Chi Junyuan's thoughts: Should I act a little reserved the first time I meet my idol?

[Note]

1: Basically, it's a story about a fan helping Chi Junyuan grow, and Chi Junyuan and Yu Lingxi helping each other grow.

2: There are no real-life inspirations whatsoever! I don't follow celebrities. If I'm lying, may she never make it big. So please don't mention any celebrities in the comments!
