Qin Yu was raised by his grandmother from a young age.
He remembered an older boy who had stayed at his home for a while. The boy taught him to solve a Rubik's Cube, told him stories, and helped him with his studies. Qin Yu thought they would never cross paths again.
Before his grandmother died, she gave him a photograph of a family of three and told him they were his family.
On the day his grandmother was buried, the older boy, the one Qin Yu had thought he would never see again, came to pay his respects.
Only then did Qin Yu belatedly realize that the Qin in his name and the Qin in Qin Shi's name were the same Qin.
