A figure-skating prodigy who had devoted her whole life to the sport was cut from the national team at age 20.
She didn’t give up figure skating. Instead, she made it her new starting point.
Wang Yueji went abroad and worked hard to hone her skills, making winning that one medal her goal.
But as she pursued her dream, she kept finding her gaze drawn to another boy at the club.
As the two prodigies spent time together, they worked hard and grew together, finally meeting at the summit.
Wang Yueji: You started skating two months before I did, so you’re my senior. Senior, please look after me for the rest of our lives~
Yuzuru Hanyu: And you look after me too!
PS: This isn’t simply a love story (though perhaps it is). The Yuzu I imagine would be attracted to a girl with goals of her own, someone who doesn’t just lose herself in love and shines in her own right. After all, Yuzu himself is so steadfast.
PS to the PS: This is all just a fantasy in my head. The characters will definitely be out of character, and some people will get butterfly-effected out of the story, so please don’t yell at me here (hides under a pot lid). Also, I’ll do my best to finish it (scurries away under a pot lid!).
