After I Gained a Shared Sense with the Tyrant

In the second year of Yuanhe, the Kingdom of Nanwan went to war with the Sui Kingdom and was defeated. It then bowed to Great Sui and acknowledged it as its overlord. The Crown Prince of Nanwan refused to accept defeat. He was willing to use his childhood sweetheart, offering her to the enemy emperor so she could pass along information.

The enemy emperor had seized the throne by murdering his brother. They said he was violent by nature and mercurial.

"Sister Fu, be my blade," the Crown Prince said tenderly. "Once I achieve my ambition, you and I will stand at the very top together."

The beauty tearfully agreed.

But the Crown Prince soon planted a poisonous parasite in her.

"Sister Fu, you are so beautiful that princes and ministers alike will pursue you. I'm genuinely worried you'll forget where your loyalties lie," the Crown Prince said with a smile.

In the fourth year of Yuanhe, Nanwan's envoys arrived in Great Sui bearing annual tribute and presented the new emperor with a peerless beauty.

But the original owner of her body died suddenly on the journey. Jiang Fu, a modern woman, unexpectedly transmigrated into the unlucky woman being offered to the emperor, complete with the identity of a spy.

At the banquet, incense scented the air, dishes were served on ornate platters, and music filled the hall. The tyrant had just had one of his ministers beheaded and was now gazing at her nonchalantly.

Jiang Fu, feeling guilty, said, "I have long admired Your Majesty. I am deeply honored to have been admitted to the palace by your grace. I am wholly loyal to you, and I beg Your Majesty to see the truth."

"Is that so?" Helan Yue said, amused. "Then come sit beside me."

Everyone else cast her sympathetic looks. His Majesty was probably in the mood to kill again.

Seated on the jade steps, Jiang Fu was so nervous she could hardly sit still. The wine made her eyes water, and to her astonishment, she caught sight of the tyrant's reddened eyes too.

Later, Helan Yue was forced to accept an absurd fact: he had developed a shared-senses connection with an enemy spy.

He could even feel a strange, unfamiliar pain when Jiang Fu got her period?

The young emperor fell into deep thought...

The Crown Prince of Nanwan had not received a single secret letter from Jiang Fu in a long time. He then personally went to Great Sui to make a show of friendship and take care of the spy whose loyalties had shifted.

But for some reason, the Sui emperor's sword was at his throat first.

The Crown Prince's expression darkened. "I don't know how I have offended Your Majesty. Please enlighten me."

Helan Yue rubbed the hilt of his sword and said lazily, "If she dies, I won't survive either."

The palace attendants passing by were shocked. Their usually detached and heartless emperor was so deeply in love!

"This servant knows he was wrong. This time, Your Highness can be on top." Xue Rang's gaze was dark and unsatisfied. He grabbed her ankle and pulled her back beneath the bed curtains.

The world did not know that when he was like a stray dog, only the princess had pitied and saved him. Xue Rang saw himself as dirt on the ground and the princess as the moon in the sky. He stole the moonlight with his lowly self, daring to dream of keeping her all to himself.

He had been through hell. He was black-hearted and cruel, with a heart of ink, but in the one white spot deep within it lived his princess.
