A horse, a sword, and a flask of wine: that's all it takes to roam free. She travels through the world and eventually returns home. The road is full of twists and turns, danger lurks at every corner, and she falls into an abyss, losing her memories. Prajna comes to claim her life, then takes human form. Old memories tie them together, and hidden words bring a farewell. She returns to the dust, vanishing from the world and leaving behind only grief and regret.
Her body brings disaster. She becomes a heartless asura, but luckily she's rescued and returns to the world of the living, still missing one love. Disaster comes from the east, and she's dragged back into hell. She throws herself into battle to slaughter disaster, blood and flesh flying everywhere. She casts away her mask and blade, becomes human, and steps into the light and shadow, reborn without a name.
What others think of Wuming
Kaoru: She's a very reliable member of the family.
Kenshin Himura: She's a very interesting person.
Sanosuke: A strange person.
Yahiko: Someone who never grows up and is always teasing me.
Megumi: Someone shrouded in mystery.
Fumio: A pitiful person.
Hajime Saito: Someone free and easy, someone to admire.
Inner monologue
Wuming: Kaoru is family, of course. Yahiko, that brat, and Megumi, who I don't know why is usually so calm but gets worked up whenever someone else is sick and refuses to take their medicine, count too. I guess Sanosuke can just about count as family! Oh, and there's Kenshin, our free labor! Wait, maybe I shouldn't call him free, since Kaoru took him in, right?
Fumio and Wuxing: one is calculating and secretly scheming about everything, and the other is dark and secretly scheming about everything. Put them together and they somehow make a good match. But somehow I'm always the one getting played. It's kind of annoying (* ̄m ̄).
Saito? He gives me a bit of a headache. There's something strange about him, and I don't know how to deal with him.
Note: This is purely a work of imagination, and some characters may be out of character. The novel mainly follows the heroine, so other characters may have much less page time, but the overall story remains unchanged. The heroine's backstory will be revealed later.
Please don't flame me if you don't like it. Updates are irregular, but I will definitely finish the story.
The timeline goes: Rurouni Kenshin, Kyoto Inferno, The Final, Trust and Betrayal, The Legend Ends.
The heroine's CP is tentatively Hajime Saito.
Theme: A story that popped into my head, and I want to write it down
