When Kaigaku Was Once a Child of Light

A Demon Slayer and Sky: Children of the Light crossover setting. This is my version of Kaigaku, definitely OOC, and he won't be quite so awful. CP is Zenitsu. I was dragged into this fandom by a fan and found no food, so I made this for myself. Updates whenever. Inadama Kaigaku couldn't stand his useless junior, Agatsuma Zenitsu, who was always crying and running away. He'd worked so hard to pursue strength and finally get the powerful former Thunder Hashira to take him in, while that guy had been picked up willingly and still wasn't satisfied. He kept shamelessly trying to run away and crying all the time. But ever since that day when the useless junior was struck by lightning and his hair turned gold, Inadama Kaigaku found, to his confusion and horror, that he couldn't bring himself to hate him anymore. That dazzling yet gentle gold, that short stature, seemed to have some inexplicable pull on him, as if it were carved into his very bones. The pull was even stronger whenever Agatsuma Zenitsu stood still with his head slightly tilted up. It always made him want to reach out to that loser, to hug him. (The Lightchild's yearning for the little golden people is hardwired into their DNA.) Agatsuma Zenitsu, before: Big Bro is so scary, so scary. He's looking this way. Is he going to hit me? He can't see me, he can't see me. Agatsuma Zenitsu, now: Tanjiro, Big Bro hasn't yelled at me for one hour, three minutes, and fifteen seconds. Does he not like me anymore? Tanjiro, Big Bro locked his bedroom door three times and put up a sign telling me not to go in, sob sob. Tanjiro, Big Bro's clothes have gotten more modest, too. He wasn't like this before. I used to be able to see... Kamado Tanjiro, unable to listen any longer: (pulls out a bamboo tube and stuffs it in his mouth) Theme: Companionship, warmth, and change.
