Ahem, I started writing this for two reasons. On the one hand, I've been having a blast reading anti-Qiong Yao novels lately. After reading so many, I got itchy to write one myself as a keepsake.
On the other hand, someone said I update at a pace measured in years. I have to debunk this rumor! I clearly update at a pace measured in half-years... (Shui Lan gets sent flying again.)
So I'm determined to rewrite my writing history. I'll update this story daily. (Everyone: From once every six months to daily? We don't believe you. Shui Lan: Just watch. I'm going all in... At worst, I'll write shorter chapters, hahaha.) Also, I swear I'll finish this story and won't abandon it. (Everyone: We believe that even less. Why not update your old stories instead?
