My Girlfriend Is a 2D Character

Lin Mujin has just turned twenty-five when her family starts pressuring her to get married. With the help of all her aunts and uncles, a parade of potential dates appears in less than half an hour, scaring Lin Mujin into turning around and running.

A friend recommends the hugely popular Girlfriend Training App, hoping Lin Mujin will learn how to avoid dating a bad woman in the future.

When Lin Mujin starts playing Girlfriend Training App, she scoffs at all the in-game items that cost real money. But before long, she's hooked.

Lin Mujin: This outfit is so cute! And this furniture is great too! I want all of it for my girlfriend! Spend! It's only a tiny bit of money!

As the game's story unfolds, something strange happens. Why does the new boss at her company look so much like her virtual girlfriend?

Lin Mujin: Is something not quite right here?
