Why Does My Demon Brother Love Me?

On the tenth day of the mysterious resurgence, hardly any living people remain on campus. Only monsters are left.

Chu Zhongxia and his roommates are hiding in their dorm room when one day, someone knocks at the door.

Knock, knock, knock.

Someone outside says, "Xiaxia, it's your big brother."

Chu Zhongxia's brother, Li Bo, died three years ago.

When Chu Zhongxia was adopted, his mother told him that once he was living with another family, he had to listen to his big brother.

Zhongxia's new big brother, Li Bo, was an older boy who was frail and sickly. Li Bo said, "You have to call me Big Brother now. When I grow up, you'll have to marry me." Sadly, he never grew any older after turning seventeen.

So who is outside the door?

Zhongxia pulls the curtains aside. Pressed tightly against the window is the face of a beautiful young man. Two moles sit beneath his eyes, and his lips and irises are scarlet.

Clearly, he still remembers the promise he made. Even after dying, he returned as an evil spirit.

Chu Zhongxia thinks for a moment, then cautiously negotiates with the ghost outside: "Can I... live off you?"
