Aren't There Too Many Problematic Sorcerers?

[A rather bleak, everyone-is-a-mess kind of ending. OOC, written without an outline or logic, and with complete abandon.]

Your name is Nagasawa Tao, and you are the undisputed belle of Rikyo High School.

The first person to threaten you is a rich kid at school.

He wants you to date him. If you refuse, he’ll publish photos that reveal your secret. You have no choice but to agree, while secretly trying to get the photos back.

You choose Yoshino, whom he used to bully, as your accomplice. But Yoshino is a madman from the future, and he can’t act recklessly. All he can do is break the rich kid’s leg. You kiss his scar as payment. He says he’ll protect you, yet crouches outside your window every night.

Then along comes a religious leader, claiming to be a teacher at your younger brother’s school. He says you’re harboring a curse and must be imprisoned according to the rules.

He smiles kindly. "You wouldn’t want your little brother to find out, would you?"

You have no choice but to do what he says and draw a picture. The subject is your white-haired tutor. After you finish, the teacher seems to go crazy too. When you anger him, he gives you a knife. "You can kill me, just like the person you love. Right here. Make a hole."

Your ice-cold beauty act can’t hold up any longer.

You decide to kick every last one of these lunatics out of your life.

Then you discover that each of them is "happiness," pulled back from the apocalypse with everything they had.

Title: Geto’s Little Sister Is Having the Time of Her Life in Other People’s Dreams

Blurb: Lately, her brother has been eating very little. Their father says he must be sneaking snacks outside.

Geto Makiko wants to eat delicious things too, just like her brother.

She follows his example and takes a huge bite of the strange thing that suddenly appears beside her pillow at night, which is probably called a "cursed spirit"...

At seven, Makiko discovers she can travel into other people’s dreams.

Makiko is still growing, so of course she’s had that dream too. Then she starts floating in front of the boy who seems to be her brother in this world.

The orange-haired, orange-eyed child is stunned: "..."

The orange-headed boy: "Mom! My sister’s a bird person! A bird person who can fly!!!"

Makiko, who has been called as cute as an angel since she was little, tilts her head. "...?"

Geto Suguru always thought it was just an unfortunate condition that ordinary people could have.

That is, until a friend visiting his house says something astonishing with great enthusiasm: "Suguru, did you know your sister is about to turn into a cursed spirit?"

The two high school boys investigate for a while, then decide to see what his sister gets up to in her dreams.

And then they see her.

A beautiful young woman with black hair and violet eyes.

1. She presses her snowy-white wings against a gloomy orange-haired boy. "Don’t be so gloomy. Shoyo, you’re the best big brother."

2. She shades a white-haired boy working in the fields with her nine fluffy tails. "Akaashi, you have to brush my fur when we get back."

3. She lowers her vine-like hair to the bottom of a tower, where a cat-eared hero stands. "Congratulations on defeating the demon king, little paws! The princess will grant you one wish!"

Friend: "Wow, can I invite your sister into my dream?"

Geto Suguru accidentally crushes the cursed spirit orb in his hand. "Dream on!"

Friend: "Great! You said yes!"

Geto Suguru: [Expletive*]

Theme: Happiness is humanity’s eternal pursuit.
