[Old Nine Gates/The Lost Tomb] A Road Without Cause

This is my first time writing a story, and both my writing and plot have flaws, but I still really love Grave Robbers' Chronicles. Maybe I'll rewrite it someday; for now, this is how it is.

This story heavily alters the timeline and mixes the original work with the TV adaptation. It starts with The Mystic Nine. Any out-of-character writing is on me.

My writing experience is limited, so constructive feedback is welcome.

What is the Zhang family?

Zhang Lingyi, carried off right from his own doorstep: bandits.
