[Jujutsu Kaisen] The Uchiha's Dog

April 25

There's no war here, and it looks peaceful, but there's no shortage of malice. Humanity's negative emotions take physical form as monsters. They keep coming, and no matter how many you kill, they never run out.

The worst aspects of human nature haven't diminished at all. People keep up a false appearance of friendliness, claiming to act for the future of humanity while doing things more cruel than demons. It's even more nauseating than the age of war.

Get some good rest, Captain.

I'll survive, and I'll get my revenge. The only things my Uchiha bloodline can leave me, apart from my eyes, are these.

Like a stray dog, he drifted through every corner of an unfamiliar world. The only thing keeping his entire body going was hatred, the kind that twisted his insides to pieces.

He had never thought about how he would live once his painstakingly planned revenge was over. He had never wondered whether time might one day dilute the hatred that had kept him going all this way, or how weak a blade would become once it no longer thirsted for blood.

#Not sure whether to include a pairing

#Third-person perspective. I'm determined to write a protagonist who feels nothing

(Too many silly stories lately, damn it)
