Hundreds of years ago, Jun Yi, the true form of the Marquis of Zhongdu, died, and her vast fortune vanished without a trace. After searching high and low, people found only ten words she'd left behind on a sheet of paper.
The bright moon lies hidden in the desert; touch the golden crystal at Heaven's Gate.
Hundreds of years later, after disaster drives Yu Lou into the martial world, she joins the Mustard Seed Abode as a guest retainer in search of someone important. By a twist of fate, she meets a blind girl and, because of a painting, gets swept into one conspiracy after another, unable to extricate herself.
From Haojiang City to the western deserts, and from the Ming Residence to the Ghostgate Sect, she meets many people and witnesses many things. But from beginning to end...
All she wants is an answer.
