In Theory, We Should Have Divorced Yesterday

He Mingluan had long been regarded as the shame of his family. The family patriarch had personally declared that he had only one thing left to offer: a marriage alliance.

The proposed spouse: eighty years old, with one foot in the grave. All He Mingluan had to do was outlive him and inherit his fortune.

He Mingluan: horrified → grabs his things and runs → gets caught and brought back → runs away again → clings to a handsome guy → wins him over with affection → reaches an agreement → steals the household register → successfully gets married → cuddles up with Shu Yu~(￣▽￣~)~

As the blissful days went by, He Mingluan remembered his marriage contract with Shu Yu. According to the agreement, they were about to get divorced.

He Mingluan flipped through the contract, then checked the calendar. Their divorce date was... yesterday.

Shu Yu had always kept his promises, until he fell in love with He Mingluan.

Well, he could break his word just once.

Once in a lifetime, a lifetime for once.

*He Mingluan (gong) x Shu Yu (shou). Both are straightforward little bundles of sunshine, and together they're a social-menace duo.

*Contract marriage, marriage first and love later, sweet romance.

*I'll post once the manuscript is finished. It won't be very long.

*Please don't read this as a reflection of real life. Enjoy!
