My psychiatrist tried every method, but none of them cured my madness.
In the end, he still advised me to turn to the supernatural.
He said, "Everyone in the world walks along the path of their own fate, and your illness is no different."
"This illness was fated. No ordinary person can cure it."
If ordinary people couldn't cure it, I had no choice but to seek out a god.
But what kind of god should I seek?
The doctor said, "If I had to give you a criterion, find a god you can trust as family."
Family?
The doctor seemed to explain why, but I wasn't really listening.
I was just so happy.
After all these years, I finally had the chance to have a family again.
And so I set out to find my family.
I told myself: This is my only chance to have a family, so this time I have to choose carefully.
But there were so many gods in the world, and my counselor said I could only choose one.
That was awful.
I knew nothing about the gods' backgrounds or personalities. What would I do if I chose the wrong family?
Just as I was at my wits' end,
my phone seemed to break. It connected to a strange network.
This network could do anything. It knew everything about the gods, and it really helped me out.
I also met lots of friends online. They were all so kind and helpful.
But I was, after all, in the middle of nowhere, where the signal was bad.
I was always afraid I'd lose my connection and be cut off from them, so I kept complaining, "I'm so scared my internet will disconnect."
But they laughed at my accent and told me it was called the Tree Network.
