[Touken Ranbu] The Genji Brothers' Rise to Stardom

He was just one of countless spirit fragments, but was lucky enough to have a younger brother of his own. In the hands of the scummy aunt everyone despised, he and his brother were forced to fall into a rift in time and space, arriving in a place whose modern history had no overlap at all with that of their original world.

His sealed memories were unlocked when they were separated once again, followed by another long wait...

Twenty years after arriving in this other world, when he had reached the age of twenty in this life...

Is that his little brother on TV? Is his group making its debut at a concert tonight?!

Oh my, how could his big brother miss such an important occasion?

So the thousand-year-old blade quietly watched the dancing Maru from below the stage.

When a lucky audience member was picked for an on-camera interaction and invited onstage to say something to their idol...

"Um... you're surprisingly good at dancing, Hi-Za-Ma-Ru?"

Knee-Maru, usually aloof in front of his fans, was overwhelmed by the joy of their reunion and the sudden realization of what had happened. In the end, embarrassment got the better of him. "Th-that's... so embarrassing..."

Note:

1. I don't follow celebrities. The entertainment industry scenes will mostly be variety shows and livestreams.

2. By default, no one thinks the names are strange.

3. I prefer harmony and won't write too much conflict or fighting, so please don't read sinister motives into the other characters.
