At Huacheng Middle School, there are two teenagers with very different personalities: Ye Lingchu and Luo Chengyi. Because of "that incident" in W City during middle school, Ye Lingchu, who used to be sunny and cheerful, became an outcast among the students and teachers. To protect their child, Ye Lingchu's parents moved the whole family from W City to H City. Ye Lingchu is grateful for what they did, but feels guilty and chooses to avoid everyone. After getting into Huacheng Middle School, Ye Lingchu lives alone in an old apartment near campus. Ever since, Ye Lingchu has kept up a cool, distant front and never reaches out to anyone. In reality, though, he's an innocent boy who blushes at a single word from Luo Chengyi. But if "that incident" happens again, what will he do? Luo Chengyi, meanwhile, likes to play the fool while keeping his true strength hidden. He wears a carefully prepared mask in public, clearly distinguishes friend from foe, and never acts hypocritically. Yet only in front of Ye Lingchu does he let down his armor and reveal his vulnerable side. As the story begins, who will fall in love first, and who has been planning this all along?
