Everyone in the industry said Chen Yang was beautiful, just as his name suggested: a single lift of his eyes was enough to set hearts aflutter.

But they didn't know he had a condition called “fear of intimate contact.” Skin-to-skin contact made his whole body tremble and his breathing grow rapid.

After years of treatment with no results, his older brother comforted him: “You just haven't met the one destined for you.”

Chen Yang hesitantly nodded. The next day, his brother threw him onto a dating show to find true love.

“...”

Chen Yang felt he had been tricked.

He was like a piece of meat dangling over a den of wolves, with all the male contestants trying to win him over.

Chen Yang rejected them one by one, and when someone was especially persistent, he rejected them a few more times.

Until one day, someone showed up in the den whom he simply couldn't chase away.

That guy seemed to have no shame. Chen Yang couldn't get away.

Pei Zhuo, a talented, formidable top-tier star in the entertainment industry, once brazenly declared on a talk show: “Dating? I'd advise you to do it once in a while, but every day? That's like going to work. Wouldn't you get sick of it?”

His fans and netizens exploded: “What the hell are you saying!?”

They frantically told Pei Zhuo to go on a dating show, saying there was a gorgeous beauty who would definitely win him over.

Pei Zhuo looked utterly nonchalant. “What kind of beauty haven't I seen? I've seen plenty of pure, cute, and sexy beauties, ”

Then he turned and saw Chen Yang, freezing in place. “Who's that?”

“Chen Yang.”

The gorgeous beauty, Chen Yang.

Pei Zhuo thought, I'm doomed. He'd never seen anyone this damn beautiful.

-

When the dating show began and Pei Zhuo first learned that Chen Yang was “ill,” he thought: For Chen Yang, I'd live a platonic life forever.

Once he found out the “condition” could be cured, Pei Zhuo beamed, then immediately changed his tune: To hell with platonic love. I'll cure you no matter what!

One day, netizens noticed that Pei Zhuo, who had once been somewhat restrained around Chen Yang, seemed to have been possessed overnight. He followed Chen Yang around, bouncing along at his heels every day and driving everyone else away.

He called him “my darling” and “my sweet wife,” wanting to cling to and hug him, all clingy and affectionate without end.

The fans and netizens were stunned: “Damn, we knew you'd get taken down, but not this fast!? Weren't you saying you'd get sick of dating? Does your face not hurt?”

Even Chen Yang was troubled. “Pei Zhuo, you're so clingy.”

“Don't mind me.” Pei Zhuo took advantage of the moment and hugged him. “Wifey smells so good.”
