Blurb

Xi Yin, empress of the Guyue Kingdom, has one great ambition in life: to unite the realm.

But during a battle over a geomantically blessed site, she and Zhan Xuming, emperor of the Longyuan Kingdom and her longtime rival of equal strength, both fall off a cliff and lose their memories.

When Xi Yin finds herself sprawled over Zhan Xuming in the most suggestive pose imaginable, she weakly lifts her eyelids.

Spring waters seem to shape her brows, and winter snow her eyes. Her bearing is elegant and her exquisite features go straight to the heart.

In an instant, a certain delusion begins to awaken within her.

Her voice, which had been about to turn stern, suddenly softens. "Husband, you have suffered."

Zhan Xuming freezes. The hand that had been about to toss the person on top of him away gently falls back. Blushing and bewildered, he asks, "Sister, have you... gone mad?"

After years spent chasing her ambitions and waging war everywhere, Xi Yin secretly longs more than anyone for a stable home.

After losing her memories, she lets herself go and forgets all about the realm. Using every kind of sweet talk, she wins her equally amnesiac nemesis, Zhan Xuming, into her arms, and they settle into a harmonious life where the wife leads and the husband follows.

Unexpectedly, Zhan Xuming recovers his memories early. The first thing he does when he sees Xi Yin is, unable to bear the humiliation any longer, hold a sword to her neck.

The woman who once killed without batting an eye has now become a lovesick madwoman, convinced that even if he doesn't love her, she still loves him. Xi Yin silently closes her eyes.

Zhan Xuming, emperor of the Longyuan Kingdom, wages war across the land to meet his kingdom's needs, seizing supplies and winning battle after battle.

He never imagined that the greatest defeat of his life would be settling down in the countryside with Xi Yin, the woman he thinks about every day and has racked his brains trying to kill.

Unable to swallow his pride, the first thing Zhan Xuming does after regaining his memories is put their old grievances aside.

He proposes that they join forces to bring down the mastermind behind their fall from the cliff!

But by now, Xi Yin's greatest ambition has become raising a family. Faced with Zhan Xuming's sudden change, she cries until she loses all reason.

To bring out her wild side, Zhan Xuming has no choice but to draw his sword against her.

Who could have guessed that Xi Yin would leave behind a divorce letter and disappear without a word?

Zhan Xuming's eyes turn bloodshot. Heartbroken, he tears up the divorce letter and tells the army eager for a fight behind him, "Hear my command, soldiers! First, we bring my wife back!"
