After Going on a Blind Date with a Fox

-Complete-

1. Everyone in high society knows that heiress Shen Rongyu is an utterly useless couch potato. She never goes out or goes to work, spending every day at home turning walnuts in her hands. She has given up on herself and has not the slightest ambition to grow the family business.

After Shen Rongyu had been holed up at home for ten days, her father finally couldn't take it anymore. He kicked her out and told her to go on a blind date. She had to bring home a son-in-law who could inherit the family fortune.

On the day of the blind date, Shen Rongyu turned the walnuts in her hand as she stared at the gorgeous woman across from her, who looked like a celestial being, and fell into deep thought.

Did her father think no man in the world was good enough for her, so he found her a beautiful woman instead?

And why did this woman look so familiar?

Before she could figure it out, the beautiful woman walked up to her and handed her a fluffy red tail. In a gentle voice, she said, "I've liked you for a long time."

Shen Rongyu thought she had pretty good taste. She casually stroked the fox fur. "How long?"

"Five hundred years."

"...Are you crazy?"

#My blind date confessed to me on our first day of meeting#

#She even gave me her tail#

#The important thing is, she's pretty cute#

2. Shen Rongyu wanted nothing to do with this strange suitor who had suddenly appeared, until...

The two accidentally entered into a life-and-death contract, connecting their emotions and binding their bodies and souls.

Bafflingly bound together, Shen Rongyu frowned in annoyance. "You stinking fox, how do I break this stupid contract?"

As the holder of the life contract and the one who held power over the death contract, Wen Qing reclined on the sofa and glanced at her leisurely.

Shen Rongyu's legs trembled, and she nearly fell to her knees.

Wen Qing smiled, her slender fingers lifting Shen Rongyu's chin. "You should call me Master now. Be good."

Shen Rongyu gritted her teeth. "Don't even think about it."

Later, Shen Rongyu stopped playing with walnuts and started raising a fox instead.

She stopped lazing around at home and started working hard.

She stopped liking men and started liking women.

The Shen family business thrived and grew stronger.

Everyone said the Shen family finally had an heir. But at home, Shen's father nearly cried himself unconscious, sobbing with snot and tears that his daughter had been abducted by a fox spirit!

Wen Qing looked at Shen Rongyu clinging to her and begging for a hug, her face innocent. "Is it my fault?"

Newcomer / Hardworking / Proud Heiress: Qingqing, I landed another deal today. Can I pet your fluffy fur?

3. Wen Qing is a thousand-year-old fox, aloof and proud by nature. No one knows that she has spent five hundred years searching for someone.

After finding that person, she originally intended to protect her in silence. But when she saw her lose herself, sink into despair, and declare, "I just want to lie around until I die," she couldn't sit back any longer. Saving her benefactor was urgent.

Through her tireless efforts, she finally transformed Shen Rongyu into a wonderful young woman, full of love and hope, with lofty ambitions.

When Wen Qing was ready to step away, Shen Rongyu learned everything about her past life. She grabbed Wen Qing by the wrist and pinned her against the door, her eyes red as if she had suffered a terrible injustice. "Do you like me, or her?"

"Have you only ever given your tail to me, or have you given it to others too?"

[Bonus Scene]

A major event had taken place in the demon realm: the thousand-year-old fox, still single until now, was going to marry a human. Rumors spread everywhere.

A little demon went to deliver a wedding gift in private, hoping to see which human had won the favor of their great lady.

But instead, the little demon saw the usually cool and aloof fox spirit holding a beautiful woman in her arms. She kissed the woman's ear and coaxed her in a voice sweet enough to melt anyone: "A-Yu, work hard and sign this contract, okay?"

The woman blushed, her irritated expression easing. "Then kiss me one more time."

The little demon covered its eyes: This isn't suitable for children!
