Prince of Tennis Fanfiction - Twilight Dust

Thanks to Mutou for the cover.

This is a clichéd transmigration story.

A girl who has just turned twenty becomes a baby and arrives in a strange place.

Everything here is unfamiliar, yet somehow unexpectedly familiar.

Japanese-style buildings, koi, flowers, and birds fill her vision.

As a child, she kept me company through the lonely years spent in the big house.

Moonlight spilled beneath the sweeping swings of a samurai's long sword.

In their spare time, they gathered to recite poetry, looking far more serious than their years.

They played pranks on a greedy little red pig,

and even gave a hat to the dark-faced gatekeeper.

With a wave, she said goodbye to the blue sea of Kanagawa,

and drifted off to begin a new life in Tokyo.

Her dazzling middle school years began.

The boy she met smiled beneath a shower of cherry blossoms.

The April sunshine paled beside him.

Those memories are like dust in the air.

In the end, they will all disappear,

until the dust settles and the tea grows cold as the flowers fall.

Special note: This is the product of the author's watching Taiwanese commercial dramas. The plot is incredibly tedious and convoluted. Read at your own risk.
