Synopsis:
After three years as classmates in middle school and two more years as classmates and deskmates in high school, Rei Furuya had always known that his old classmate, Sawashiro Kisaki, was a hopeless chuunibyou.
Her dream was to become the world's greatest mystery manga artist!
...But her drawing skills were still stuck at the stick-figure stage.
Undeterred, Sawashiro Kisaki drew in class, drew between classes, and even drew during exams.
After their long-suffering homeroom teacher called her mother overseas to complain, she was whisked abroad like an octopus being carried away.
Before leaving, she sobbed and sniffled as she got Rei Furuya's email address, then made him swear that on the day the world ended, he would come save her and bring her home. She didn't want to die in a foreign land!
Rei Furuya: "..."
Then, during the last two weeks before graduating from the police academy, Rei Furuya received a barrage of deathly messages and calls.
--Do you know Kenji Hagiwara?
--Congratulations, he's about to be blown up!
--Do you know Jinpei Matsuda?
--Congratulations. He's about to be blown up too!
--Do you know Wataru Date?
--He's going to die too!
--Oh, and there's Morofushi. He's going to die too!
--Rei, you have it so rough.
Rei Furuya: "..."
Rei Furuya didn't get it. Rei Furuya thought you were seriously messed up!
P.S. Warnings:
# An alternate-universe Detective Conan fanfic. The whole police academy group is saved, but Amuro Tooru handles that, so it won't be described in detail. The timeline ends before the Bourbon arc, and there are major changes.
# There will be crossovers with some slice-of-life manga. 90% of the story focuses on elementary school kids. There isn't much romance, and the main couple won't get together before the Organization is destroyed.
# The heroine is essentially somewhere between red and gray. She's a fairly clever, theatrical chuunibyou.
# Busy with real life, so updates will be irregular.
↑↑↑ Unexpected circumstances. Updates paused. Returning in June.
Theme: Healing every wound
