Ming Feng, the senior disciple of Jiutian Sect, fell into the demonic path after failing her tribulation. Her master caught her red-handed while she was stealing treasures from the sect's vault. To make amends, she was sent to the mortal world to complete a seemingly impossible task: "Teach ordinary people cultivation techniques so they can escape the threat of demons and monsters." Ming Feng thought she could finally kick back and slack off in the mortal world, but she never expected that her supervisor would be her clingiest junior sister, Ming Zhuo.
"Senior Sister, don't you want to do your job properly so we can go home together?"
Neither of them expected this seemingly impossible task to bind their souls together forever, as they experienced three cycles of reincarnation in the mortal world.
"Why did we come to this mortal world? Was it just to suffer all this pain and hardship?"
"I don't know, but we'll find the answer."
