Originally titled The Transfer Student at Castlebush. A few readers pointed out that "transfer student" still feels like a tired old trope, and I think they have a point, so I'm planning to change it, including the female lead's age. I figure the American setting and transfer student angle will just be background elements. Maybe the story will start after graduation? (I haven't decided yet.)
I think professor stories are the hardest to write well. It's easy to make the character OOC, so I may save him for last.
The plot will probably start sometime between the Marauders' generation and the next generation... I think? Maybe around when the professor has just become a professor. (Though that might change. I keep changing my mind, so it all depends on what I decide when I start writing!)
