A glimmer of fate led a young girl toward the future. In 2350 AD, a mysterious game called "Medieval Revision Project" appeared in the real world, forcibly inviting half the world's population to log in. Players gradually discovered that the Middle Ages in the game differed greatly from the records in history books-- Mysterious, uncanny dark creatures roamed the world. A rotting mermaid songstress sang a dirge for everyone who entered an instance. A princess clutching a bloody axe bared her sharp teeth. A magic potion gained sentience and staged a bloody scene of potions eating people... Players who entered the game received only one mission: Revise the history of the game.
