Just like the essential premise of this story, Hagiwara Kenji, who was destined to die for good after November 7, signed a dokidoki contract with a certain System. In exchange for becoming "permanently battle-damaged plus," he got an overpowered cheat, including a universal companion-chat System and a script full of bugs.
Then, dragging along his thoroughly broken body, he read discussions and fanworks titled "5-4=0," "Hiro's High-Definition Death Photo," "Discussion: Rei Furuya's Undercover Career," "Class President, Wedding in a Dream," and the most eye-catching one of all, "Matsuda Jinpei Has a Hundred Days Left to Live," among others, and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Hagiwara Kenji Plus: What the hell?!
He went over the story, considered all the terrifying possibilities, and thought about his current situation. Then he decisively joined the Black Organization, prepared to die without a sponsor, a file, a contact, anyone knowing about him, or anyone trusting him.
When he next appeared in the manga, the Organization member known by his real name, Hagiwara Kenji, and the codename Lagavulin Whisky forced his way into the main storyline of Detective Conan under the identity of Miki Aki.
