***************Reposting this story without permission is prohibited. I also personally wish a whole household of ill fortune on those who pirate it.*************** English title: Promises Mistaken Original author: Robin4 et al. Author's email: [email protected] Original link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1670111/1/Promises_Mistaken UU series Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Unbroken_Universe Permission: See Promises Unbroken Summary: Almost every story begins with the question, "What if...?" Promises Unbroken, the first story in the Unbroken Universe, is a typical example of this kind of question. Promises Mistaken is about an author choosing between two equally promising paths. For me, that choice is Chapter 10 of Promises Unbroken. Rating: PG-13 (presumably because of the violence) Notes: 1. This story is an AU of the UU trilogy. It is recommended that you read it alongside the trilogy, but you can also understand this story without reading the trilogy. 2. This story was translated by Lethean. Simeng handled all proofreading and revisions. 3. This is an AU of an AU. For details on what has changed from the original, see the introduction and warnings in Chapter 1. 4. Glossary... The Marauders are the group consisting of James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew (the only name in this story not translated according to the usual conventions). 5. Unlike the main trilogy, PD is complete, while PH is still being written. PM, however, is a huge, bottomless pit that may not be completed for years... We won't abandon the translation, but we can't guarantee what will happen with the original. Please decide whether to dive in based on your own circumstances. The UU trilogy is updated in Simeng's author profile. The link is below: Theme:
