BTS's Great Mission to Save the Socially Awkward

Um…

Hello, my name is Lu Keai. The last time I went outside was a week ago. You may have guessed already: that's right, I'm socially anxious. I'm the kind of person who doesn't have to worry about someone stealing my lunch at the school cafeteria, because I won't even look at the counters with long lines. I keep my eyes straight ahead and head directly for the one with no queue. That's just how I am.

After graduating, my social anxiety made me rack my brains to choose a career that required the least interaction with people: writing.

And to avoid talking to the screenwriter I worked with as much as possible, I never miss a deadline. I'm always right on time!

The screenwriter has praised me countless times for it. All I can say is that this is just basic social-anxiety etiquette.

Then one day, a man barged into my life. After I went out to take out the trash and came home, someone suddenly pinned me against my front door and said in a low voice, “Cute little thing, I'm informing you that you're no longer free to go outside. Don't ever think you'll leave again.”

The unexpected delight hit me so hard I nearly fainted. Really?!

Oh my god!!!

“You're no longer free to go outside. Don't ever think you'll leave again.” Just listen to that! How wonderful! Is my wish of more than twenty years finally coming true?!

So I happily passed out. If this is a dream, I hope I never wake up.

A:

It's a long story, but all the members of BTS encountered a supernatural event. More precisely, they were all bound to a System: the Social Anxiety Rescue System.

What does that mean?

At first, everyone was completely baffled and thought it was a haunting. Then a System calling itself Lai Qian said, “Congratulations, Host. Oh my! Why did I bind so many of you?! Never mind, never mind. A few extra people won't hurt.”

BTS: So half-hearted? It's got to be a bare-bones System.

Lai Qian: “… I hope all Hosts will keep up the good work and rescue the socially anxious! It's your inescapable responsibility!!!”

BTS: Thanks, but please don't involve us.
