When a down-on-her-luck dojo heiress bent on revenge meets a private-school teacher who calls himself "Yoshida Shoyo," your story with them begins.
Three troublesome childhood-friend juniors, one empty-headed and foolish old comrade-in-arms, a band of unruly armed police, and more...
In this absurd world, what is the future that will eventually arrive?
Gintama otome, all pairings.
Before you read:
* The female protagonist has a name and some background details. Her backstory was inspired by Rin Asano from Blade of the Immortal. In short, her family ran a dojo when she was young. A group of swordsmen who came to test their blades attacked them, killed her parents before her eyes, and stole the sword passed down through her family. The heroine survived and swore revenge. She gave her parents' inheritance to their friend Yoshida Shoyo to help him establish a private school, on the condition that he teach her swordsmanship and help her grow stronger. She became the first disciple Shoyo took in, the senior sister of Joy 3, and a comrade-in-arms who fought alongside Joy 4. After the war, they went their separate ways. Now in Edo, she works as a bodyguard at the Smiling Bar while searching for the leader of the organization she wants revenge on. That's the main plot, though it isn't important (hey!).
* The story generally follows the original plot. Everyone she wants to save will be saved. The main plot and daily life are interwoven, and the pacing is slow. Expect sweetness, angst, melodrama, and comedy. Read according to your preferences.
* This is a many-men-x-you story!! Please only read the main story if you're okay with that!
Theme: Just a simple story made of little moments.
I was deeply impressed by this episode at the time. Hijikata was able to write the letters Shinpachi wrote to his pen pal with ease. In the following episodes, he couldn't write letters to his family. I felt that Sorachi was good at it.
What a delicious article. The characterization of the protagonist, the story line and the writing style all suit my taste.
Very memorable! Congratulations to Teacher Cinnamon, the story is wonderful and the emotional description is really profound!!! I'm really looking forward to the content that follows (I'm secretly asking, is the surname of Akei's enemy Shimazu Kageto the same as Shimazu Saibin, a famous official at the end of the Tokugawa period?)
It's really memorable. Congratulations to lof for posting for 1000 days! Happy birthday Gintoki! When I got up, I was still thinking whether Mr. Cinnamon would update the extra episode today. I found out that I suddenly woke up and jumped out of bed to start tasting it. It was delicious, funny, and warm and reassuring.
After tying up, I realized that there has been no update for a long time 😭
Oh NO, I forgot the old place [scared]
Yamazaki is also getting better. I thought his role wouldn't come so soon. I was so happy when I saw Kiss 🐰
Will Mr. Cinnamon write a sex chapter? I want to see Ah Jing transform into a handsome and beautiful young man!!!
I also miss Teacher Cinnamon today 😭
This is the first time I read an article in Jinjiang. I didn't expect it to be so to my liking. I'm so lucky to have it! Some of the psychological descriptions are really spot-on and resonant, the plot arrangement is not abrupt at all, and I feel full of surprises ❤️ I always remember reading some of my favorite clips one early morning with the moonlight and the coconut trees downstairs, and my mood was lifted. Thank you to the author (﹡???﹡)?
