Although I haven't finished Sword Trace yet, I've at least figured out the background and events leading up to Holy Trace. From the first time I saw Holy Trace, to learning he was a schemer, to witnessing him kill Xie Ying and knock Jian Zi off a cliff, I still couldn't bring myself to hate him. That left me conflicted. I read someone else's take on Holy Trace, and Xiao Tu Xiao Ji's piece was just so heartbreaking.
QAQ.
They're right, but I still feel Jian Zi is portrayed as far too heartless. I can't let go of either Jian Zi or Holy Trace, so no matter which side I take, I won't be happy. Ha, Jian Zi never expected Holy Trace's final fate. Jian Zi thought he could get everyone to beat Holy Trace up, and then he'd behave. But Holy Trace panicked and took a path of no return. Jian Zi must have been heartbroken, too. Holy Trace, why wouldn't you just let yourself get beaten? One good thrashing and everything would've been fine...

I still think Holy Trace was happiest during the time he went mad. Maybe he even considered pretending to stay crazy and never waking up. That life wasn't so bad... Though when I first saw Holy Trace go mad, I couldn't accept it -_- But the plan had already been laid. It wasn't that Holy Trace had to see it through; he had no choice but to do so.
Anyway, to sum it all up: BJ, you're all too cruel!
