After the Bad Ending, I Made a Contract with a Demon

#Detective Conan Fanfiction# After the decisive battle, the Organization was destroyed, and Hakuba Akiyoshi attended the funerals of his five classmates. Over the next eight years, he watched his friends die one after another, until they had all left him alone in the world. He wasn't even allowed to follow them in death, because he was a despicable thief: a spy planted in the National Police Agency by the Organization, who had coveted the blazing friendship he found in the sunlight. He was a villain, the greatest aberration in this world. He had to set things right, bring the dead back to life, and return fate to its proper course. So he offered the devil his entire soul in exchange for the intervention of Heaven. The devil: "The dead cannot be brought back to life, and a path that's already gone astray cannot be corrected. I can only take you to a parallel world and change a future that hasn't happened yet." Akiyoshi: "I am guilty. I'll give him everything back, including his classmates, friends, and family. Then I'll offer you my soul." The devil: "The contract is sealed, then... Happy trading~" But things turned out just a little differently from what Hakuba Akiyoshi had expected. "Stop talking nonsense! You're my big brother, my goal, and my eternal support!" his deceived younger brother said with conviction. The boy with chestnut curls looked at him, solemn, yet full of trust in his family. "Come join us, Aki." The cat-eyed young man, who had died on a cold, rainy night after his undercover identity was exposed because of him, reached out with a smile. Behind him lay an endless abyss, but ahead was a brilliant sun. He only had to take one step, and the world would open up before him. "Akiyoshi, I won't let you give up! Live, do you hear me?!" The blond police officer, who had fallen just before dawn, charged toward him through flames and ash. His bright eyes were bloodshot, his voice hoarse with desperation. He begged, humbly, heedless of the danger. "Akiyoshi." "Aki~" "Little Akiyoshi!" "Officer Hakuba." "Big Brother Akiyoshi!" "Hakuba Akiyoshi!" You are Hakuba Akiyoshi, the eldest son of Hakuba Rihei, the older brother of Saguru Hakuba, and a close friend of the Police Academy crew. You are a Public Security police officer, entrusted with the hopes of the public, the expectations of your elders, and the faith of your friends! You will always be yourself. An unconventional rebirth, not a parallel timeline. No romantic pairings, pure friendship, with a few tearjerkers. Theme: Justice will ultimately triumph over evil
