The author is hopeless at writing blurbs, so here goes:
A second before Komaeda opened his eyes, he could still see flames soaring into the sky. The next moment, he had become a little kid with short arms and legs, about to be adopted by a family.
It took him a while to realize that the life he remembered from his previous life had seemed like a dream. Now that he had woken up, he was still alive in an era of absolute peace. There were no Talents, no Hope's Peak, and no luck of his own...
Wait, his abnormal luck still seemed to be there... And it seemed even more outrageous now!
Komaeda sincerely began worrying that his seemingly delicate family might one day suffer because of his luck. That was, until the older brother he thought he needed to protect effortlessly took down an ugly, enormous monster by the side of the road with a dazzling spell.
Komaeda: (eyes sparkling) Wow.
At first:
Some white-haired high schooler: Are you sure he isn't a brothercon? The way he treats you is pretty weird!
Suguru: (resentful) So what if he is? He won't even come with me to Jujutsu High!
Later:
Some white-haired high schooler: (smug) He really isn't a brothercon. I feel like he treats me even better than he treats you!
Suguru: (seeing the truth) Heh, is that so?
At the end:
Some white-haired high schooler: Why are you so nice to so many people?!
Komaeda: Huh? Am I? I just sincerely respect all of you.
The blurb is above. Here are some notes for readers:
1. This is basically an alternate story where Komaeda becomes Suguru's younger brother. Komaeda has no cursed energy, but he has extreme luck (a different kind of Heavenly Restriction x). You should still be able to enjoy this even if you haven't read Danganronpa.
2. His luck buff is still around, and many people even mistake it for his cursed technique. But this buff has received an epic upgrade: people Komaeda cares about very, very much won't be affected by it.
3. It's tagged as pure romance, but Komaeda may not fall in love. There will definitely be one-sided crushes, so I still tagged it as pure romance. If the main story has a couple, it'll most likely be Satoru, because I really want to see two white-haired guys cuddling ().
4. Aside from being obsessed with hope, Komaeda is actually very talented. He's smart and gentle, and lots of people would like him in a normal society (me, for example). That's why this story came to be.
